At your first visit to our office, you will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. Schack. We dedicate one half hour for this appointment so that we have plenty of time to answer all of your questions regarding orthodontics and your care in particular.
Dr. Schack will perform an orthodontic examination, discuss your orthodontic needs, and outline any treatment that is indicated.
At the close of the first appointment we will outline the basic treatment plan and fees and explain your payment options. Then we're ready to schedule your next appointment and get you started on your way to a better bite and a better smile!

If it is determined that orthodontic treatment is needed, additional diagnostic records (photographs of you and your teeth, study models of your teeth, and two orthodontic-specific x-rays) will be taken at a subsequent appointment. The treatment plan will then be confirmed and reviewed prior to placing the orthodontic appliances.
- There is plenty of room, so please feel free to bring along whomever you need to for your convenience.
If you have dental insurance and want to know how it will work or how much they will contribute towards the treatment, you can either give us the information over the phone prior to your first visit, or you can bring your card to the first visit.
